Gay, bi, trans and queer men deserve an app that respects them. Ronski is built in Finland around one idea: be recognised before you have to explain yourself, with privacy as the starting point.

About Ronski

Ronski is an 18+ dating and community app for gay, bi, trans and queer men, made in Finland by founder Oskar Varis. Members build profiles with interest, kink and community tags and choose what shows. Besides chat, the app lists events. Ronski launches at the beginning of 2027, starting in Helsinki. Platforms: iPhone and Android, plus a web version for members. There is no ad tracking and no data is sold. Read more at ronski-app.com.

Privacy in short

  • No ad tracking, and we do not sell data. The website has no analytics or ad trackers.
  • Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest. Photos and voice messages use our storage provider's standard encryption. The keys for messages are held on our servers. Staff can open a chat only when it has been reported, and every opening is logged.
  • Location is rounded to about 500 metres before it is stored. Other members see only a blurred distance, and members can hide it.
  • Health and sex-life details are sealed with a separate key for each member. Interest and lifestyle tags are not sealed that way.
  • Reports are reviewed by real people, with automated help. We cannot promise a place free of bad behaviour, but we act on reports.
  • Adults only. We ask for a date of birth at sign-up and block anyone under 18. We do not check identity documents.
